bedroom theme help please?

Question

Ok well I want a theme that would fit my personality. My room so far has white walls(I can paint it light colours of get wallpaper) and cream carpet(it has a square pattern in it and I can't change the carpet) .

Anyway I want a theme that fits my personality:
I am quiet and shy but have a wild side as well...I love waterfalls and tranquil(sp) settings and fire...I love magical things as well...I know it's not detailed but I was woundering what theme style would fit my personality as well as some of the things I should get???

I think it would be cool if you painted your walls a very light purple, almost white. I always feel that purple is a whimsical color. Accent the room with white furniture. Then add cool little accessories to really pull it together:



- a small white chandelier that looks like an antique over the bed or a desk

- a really cool mirror

- some pictures of friends and family in white frames, or

even some pictures of fairies

- make a canopy of sheer material over the bed

- a bouquet of pretty flowers always livens a room. I'm thinking white hydrangeas in a simple glass vase

- whimsical little knick knacks would be cute, like little porcelain statues and busts that you could find at an antique store

- Cool bedding. Maybe a lavender purple with cool throw pillows in light green gingham and simple white. Mix round and square shapes

- Candles always add a great accent

i think you should go tropical, with a light turquoise/ blue room with dark wood accents. White sheer curtains. Dark wooden blinds. Add a few plants and you will have a nice relaxing retreat! I have always wanted to do that to my room.

well you seem like you would like light, soft colors. maybe like a beach theme? you have cream carpet, so do a light, light blue wall. then get like bamboo curtains and stuff to make it fun!

Like get tinkerbell stuff with tinkerbell on the curtains and bed, and paint your walls purple or blue.

I would suggest maybe getting some posters to decorate your walls......or getting some cool tropical wall paper.

You could keep your room simple in style but have a mural on one of the walls. here are some good murals....they are very magical!
