Have you used magnetic paint successfully - any tips?

I'm thinking of painting a couple of walls in my house with magnetic paint - the hall for general reminders and photos and a wall in my little girl's room for pictures and magnetic letters and animals etc. Have you used it and how well did it work?

Ok, in one of my design jobs, an education in room in a teaching facility, magnetic paint was applied to the room.
Be aware the magnetic field generated is fairly weak, and the paint is fairly expensive (I am sure you have looked into the price)...
Over time, the magnetic field does fade, and you must take care not to damage/chip it - basically the larger the unsullied expanse of paint, the better the overall field becomes.
It was applied to the Education room in question in Summer 2006, and as recently as my last visit in June this year, they were still comfortably mounting picture frames etc.

Aaaargh Skiddo I had a nightmare with this stuff!
I did it in my daughters room on two doors. The metallic magnetic bits kept separating and I had to use two tins to get enough coverage for it to work. The purple colour looked a bit manky as well.
Although I used a generic B&Q version, maybe a 'brand' might be better.
I did use that chalkboard one and the colours available in that are fab and it was great to apply/use.
