Not sure if its on a hard floor, but you can get free Formica sample chips that are samples for counter tops. These little chips won't scratch the surface of anything. You can use these for several things, Getting sealant off of windows and super good for getting things like paint drops on any kind of floor. I'm a professional cleaner and these chips were a great discovery. Also if you ever get anything on glass, mirrors, granite or marble, you can scrape without scratching. I get the free sample chips at Home Depot. Good luck.

If it is silicone you can get a silicone remover from the same place you got the silicone.
Item number 17175-89 on page 142 in the latest screwfix cat.
Go on www.screwfix.com
There are two others on the same page.

If it's silicone sealant, and it's still wet, get it off as fast as you can, cause once it's hardened, you'll have an almost impossible job to shift it.

When it has dried, you can generally scrape/cut it off. It sometimes peals off in long strips. The bits in the cracks will be a problem.

Learn to love it, because if it's silicone, it's there to stay.
