8'1' X 8'7' Small Room. Need to fit Wardrobe and a Small Double Bed. Possible? Help Please.?

Hi there,

I have a 8'1 x 8'7' room and would like to fit a small double bed and a small wardrobe. Do you think it might be possible. I am looking for a slim wardrobe. Does anyone have any ideas where to get slimline wardrobe for a few pieces of clothes and a small double bed and what I can do to make it look spacious? I am decorating for my Brother who has just come out of the hospital and want to make it special for him.

I will really appreciate if anyone can advice me on where I can buy a small wardrobe and bed. Be great if it is cheap as well.

My son has a very small bedroom in his flat and he bought a corner wardrobe, it fits snugly into the corner of the room so it takes up much less space than an ordinary flat backed one, I think he bought it in MFI, but you can probably get them in any furniture outlet.

Think you need a 3/4 double (smaller than a double but larger that a single) or even a very old double bed think they really old beds where smaller. No idea on the wardrobe. The best place for cheap beds and wardrobes would garage/house sales, auctions/ebay, car-boot sales, charity/junk shops or small adds in the paper. The one thing to spend money on would be a new mattress, do not use second hand mattress.

I have just moved into a house with that size. I can get a single bed with a pullout bed underneath. Even when that is out, it is a blumin nightmare to manouvre. I have a Set of drawers also. There really is nothing else that can fit, without it looking rubbish///

A wardrobe has to be as deep as a cothanger is wide, so you're stuck with that size. A fold-away bed is one option, but probably better with a bed which has drawer space underneath.

you could try fitted wardrobe at each side and over head . There not as hard to make as you think. cut down flat packs to fit. two small singles and an overhead. include some concealed lighting and you got STYLISH. you could also try your local funiture auction. some good stuff goes really cheap.

finished/Queen? ok, finished length sheets are drastically distinctive from Queen length!! Queen is muchhh better. perhaps you get finished length to extra wholesome in case you extremely tuck them in, yet you're at an advantage going with twin XL. (twin better long). that's the nicely-known length for dorm room beds. Hit mattress, tub, and previous to locate some attractive ones on sale. you will get them for like 5 funds there. ;)

me and my boyfriend had so many people staying with us we wanted to put a tv and couch in our bedroom - so i took the dresser drawers out of the dresser and slid them under the bed - so i have no need for a dresser in my room - u can probably fit 6 drawers under there easy -
