I want to buy some of this floor LED lighting for my home theater but dont know what its called, I've tried googleing it but not come up with any solid suppliers. its used in the plane floor and cinema floors to direct people to an exit in case of a fire. I think it will look cool in my home cinema, just need to know the name and ideally a supplier. Thanks

at the movie theater I go to, they have some type of rope light, installed in a rubber track. It looks like the same type of LED Rope lights that some people use for christmas lights, just installed in a rubber track.

Not sure of the name but I have seen lights used on the steps on decks for illuminating the edges at night. Probably find them at Lowes or Home Depot.

It isn*t the same thing but I used Christmas white lights from the dollar store and ran them all along the baseboards in my kitchen under the cabinets, and on top of the cabinets.

Looks great at night, its cheap ($1.00 for a hundred lights) and you can just keep stringing them together. for as many as yu want.

I think you want the rope lighting, not recessed lighting. Try typing in rope lighting in to google.

pretty much all this type of lighting is just called ....recessed lighting .........because the lights are recessed into whatever it is attatched to ....like ceilings, floors , walls , shelving

also can be called ....puck..... lights since they are small and flat and round like....a hockey puck

most are run on low voltage transformers so they can be installed pretty much anywhere

sort of like these >
