Question:
800 Thread Count Queen Sheets?
2007-12-12 18:13:41 UTC
Wondering if anyone knew of some sites that have 800 thread count WHITE queen size sheets, either Egyptian Cotton or Cotton, no Sateen or anything. Also in a reasonable price range, nothing outrageous.

Any help and sites are appreciated. Thank you for your time.

I have been buying from Overstock.com

http://www.overstock.com/Home-Garden/Sheets/Egyptian-Cotton,800tc_-1000tc,/material,thread-count-range,/1/subcat.html

they have good prices but now walmart.com now has 1000tc sheets so I plan on trying them next time.

Linen n Things has some specials right now. I did get some 800 thread count, no-iron pillowcase at Tuesday Morning, which are wonderful, but no sheets available. That store is really Hit and Miss, but regular browsing can be rewarding: Lilly Pulitzer bedding at a fraction of retail.

But, I digress. One thing I am reading is that weight of the fabric is becoming more important than the thread count. The length of the thread or "staple" is important, that is why Egyptian or Pima cotton is good.

I just bought a set of king-size 600 tc Egyptian at Linens n Things for $60 with a 20% coupon. Prices do vary but I have found that"name" Brands have no guarantee of better quality.

You may try someplace like Tuesday Morning. I have seen some high thread count, but not 800. I have bought 400 and don't like them because they are so soft. I doubt you will find them at a reasonable price. Good luck.

Hi, try this. Go into Google or Yahoo image search. Key in 800 thread count sheets or whatever item you're looking for. Voila, you now have thousands of photographs to choose from. Most images link to a website for more information.
