Blue and black bedroom?

Question

Do you think a light blue and black would look good together? I'm thinking about painting my room light blue and then going to have like black stuff in the room. What do you think?

Yes. But what type of blue? Dark? Light? It looks nice.. Black goes with everything. Its really true. haha..

I would paint it an off white and use all accessories then to get your effect. Most people can not paint well and they screw it up. Then it looks so bad what's the point of decorating. Colors are more difficult to paint so that makes it even harder.

Buy a good brush and roller cover and clean the brush well after you are finished. Do not clean the roller, throw it out. It will never be the same and it takes a lot of time to clean and they are not expensive. You can cover it in plastic for a night ot two if necessary. Use a paint pole as that helps so you don't reach and make lines putting too much pressure in one spot.

Buy good paint too. No use for cheap paint it this world. The labor will exceed the paint cost every time. Do not use a semi-gloss as it will show mistakes and be harder to paint. I say ok to painting walls and ceiling the same color as it is easier and you only have 1 color to purchase.

It sounds good enough, I would say Sky Blue would be the best color for what you're going for. In my opinion, anyways.
