Is it ok to use Ronseal fence paint in a Cuprinol sprayer? the sprayer is a pump version

Yes so long as it is thin enough to use in a sprayer. You should have got a gauge with the sprayer to test this.

I think these spray units depend on the liquid to be sprayed being thin enough as to not clog up the sprayer nozzle.

it will be ok, just clean it out well afterwards and wear a mask and dont apply in windy conditions .
